Amadores sits on the sheltered south-west coast at Mogan, about 25 minutes from Maspalomas and the Yumbo Centre, so most of the island's big events are within easy reach. The 2027 calendar fills month by month: five months have their own page, the rest carry their confirmed events here, and every entry is re-checked in the weeks before it runs. Where an organiser has not published a date, the entry says what is known and stops there.
2027 month by month
The carnival opens in the capital on 22 January, and Three Kings is on 6 January, a national holiday.
The capital's carnival galas from 5 February, a seven-day fetish festival in Maspalomas, and the Transgrancanaria, which finishes at Parque Sur in Maspalomas.
March 2027
Tuesday 2 - Sunday 14 March 2027 - Carnaval Internacional de Maspalomas 2027 - theme Un Mundo de Juguetes, elected with 59.1% of the public vote. The dates are official and final; the day-by-day is not, so the Drag Queen Gala (10 March), the Gran Cabalgata (13 March) and the Entierro (14 March) are expected dates only, not confirmed ones. The south's own carnival, 25 minutes from Amadores.
Friday 12 March 2027 - Dia del Turista - San Bartolome de Tirajana's statutory local holiday. The tourist gala and the night's mogollon in Playa del Ingles are announced with the carnival programme, which is not final.
The rest of March is unpublished: the council's carnival day-by-day and the Easter processions both appear closer to the date.
April 2027
Saturday 17 - Sunday 18 April 2027 - Anfi Challenge Mogan - Gran Canaria, at Anfi del Mar. The 2027 edition is a two-day T100-format race: Challenge Gran Canaria 100 (2 km swim, 80 km bike, 18 km run) and Challenge Gran Canaria 50 (1 / 40 / 9), with age-group racing on the Saturday and the professional race on the Sunday. The Junior Challenge Aquathlon is also on 17 April.
Read this before you book: the 2027 racing is based at Anfi del Mar, not at Amadores. The finish line is at Anfi Beach, so if you booked on the strength of an older description of the run coming past this beach, check the course first.
The rest of April is unpublished: the LPA Film Festival's 2027 dates are printed on one publisher's page and marked "to be confirmed" on another, and the organiser has published none - so no date is printed here.
Maspalomas Pride with its Saturday parade, the Rally Islas Canarias as round five of the World Rally Championship, and Dia de Canarias on Sunday 30 May.
June 2027
Sunday 13 June 2027 - San Antonio El Chico, Mogan, the patron day, in the town. The procession is held on the Saturday before 13 June, so Saturday 12 June 2027, and Monday 14 June is the local holiday. The day belongs to the town rather than the coast.
Wednesday 23 - Thursday 24 June 2027 - Fiestas Fundacionales de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria: the Noche de San Juan on the 23rd and the city's 549th anniversary on the 24th, 45-60 minutes up the GC-1. The 2027 programme is published in June.
The rest of June is unpublished: Mogan's full San Antonio programme, including the romeria and the craft market.
The Carmen fiestas at Arguineguin on 16 July, the Maspalomas Costa Canaria Soul Festival on the sand at San Agustin, and Santiago at Galdar on 25 July in its Jacobean holy year.
Three patron-saint days on fixed dates: San Antonio el Grande at Mogan on 1 August, the Fiesta de la Rama at Agaete on the 4th, and San Bartolome at Tunte on the 24th.
September 2027
Tuesday 7 - Wednesday 8 September 2027 - Fiestas del Pino, Teror: the Romeria-Ofrenda on the 7th and the Dia del Pino on the 8th, which is Gran Canaria's island holiday. On the night of the 7th the whole island is in the same village.
Sunday 12 September 2027 - Dia de las Marias, Teror: the village's own fiesta, kept on the first Sunday after the Dia del Pino. 8 September 2027 is a Wednesday, so the first Sunday after it is the 12th. The local version of the Pino, a week later and a fraction of the crowd.

Friday 1 - Tuesday 12 October 2027 - Maspalomas Fetish Pride, Playa del Ingles and the Yumbo Centre, 25 minutes from Amadores. Twelve days, and the 2027 programme is not published.
Thursday 14 - Sunday 17 October 2027 - Gran Canaria Walking Festival 2027, XVI edition: four new guided routes across the island, run by the Gran Canaria Natural & Active association, Turismo de Gran Canaria's official brand for nature and active tourism. The routes are published with the programme. The best October plan for anyone who has already done the beach.
The rest of October is unpublished: Aguimes's Rosario programme and Masdanza.
November 2027
No 2027 date is published for November. Winter Pride Maspalomas and WOMAD Las Palmas both usually run in this month, and neither organiser has published 2027 dates yet - winterpride.com and the Cabildo agenda still carry November 2026.
December 2027
No 2027 date is published for December. The Belen de Arena on Las Canteras, the New Year programmes in Las Palmas and at Puerto Rico, and the San Silvestre race are all annual, and none has a published 2027-28 date.
